Capitals playing poorly, still winning
While the Washington Capitals completed one of their best October’s in club history, there is still an uneasiness surrounding the way the team has played.
The good news is that the Capitals continue to win games despite playing down to their competition and not being able to close out games.
The bad news is that the Capitals continue to play sloppy hockey and allow opponents to make things interesting in the third period, yet for some reason haven’t changed their ways.
Head coach Bruce Boudreau has gotten on his team several times this year for playing too lazy late in games, but it seems that they aren’t listening.
Washington may get to the playoffs easily based on talent alone, but they will face a quick elimination if they don’t improve their play.
