Capitals trade Seabrook to Flames
The Washington Capitals have traded defenseman Keith Seabrook to the Calgary Flames for future considerations.
Seabrook was a second round selection of the Capitals in the 2006 NHL Draft.
It’s an interesting decision for the Capitals to be trading away young defenseman that they selected so highly in the draft, which is how they have built their current team.
The future considerations they will receive is unlikely to be anything of high value and could end up just being cash. It’s definitely an interesting move.
