Capitals sign Gordon
The Washington Capitals have signed forward Boyd Gordon to a one-year contract worth $761,000.
The deal keeps Gordon with the Capitals, the team that drafted him all the way back in 2002.
He made the team during the 2003-2004 season and has been a mainstay with the club ever since then.
Gordon had five goals and nine assists during 63 games last year and was a key part of the penalty killing unit.
