Capitals re-sign Laing
The Washington Capitals have re-signed left wing Quintin Laing to a one-year contract.
He played in just one game for the Capitals last season because of a torn spleen, cutting his year short.
Laing did return to the ice after two months, but did so with the Hershey Bears, helping to lead them to the AHL title.
In his 43-game NHL career, Laing has tallied one goal and six assists. He provides the Capitals some veteran depth in their minor league system.
